SENIOR SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER (CONTENT) : MATERNITY COVER FTC (FULL TIME)

This role has a planned start date of 3rd March 2025 with a full time, fixed term contract of 10 months with the potential to extend. This position is Bournemouth based.

YOU WILL BE…

Working with your own core clients to deliver strong creative output that is not only entertaining, compelling and engaging, but also aligns closely with the individual key social and business objectives of our clients, combining in-depth knowledge of popular social media platforms with the ability to communicate in a clear and engaging way

Brainstorming & executing wider social media campaigns: leading internal meetings and initiatives as directed by the senior team

Acting as required as a client liaison with our wider client portfolio

Demonstrating a strong, up to date understanding of all social channels

Designing visually stunning and engaging written and visual communications and assets across digital and social media platforms

Maintaining brand and visual consistency across platforms and across campaigns

Advising on how use of video and animation can add value to a campaign

Proactively exploring new and innovative visual approaches and techniques for storytelling

Able to identify new opportunities, test, learn and maximise social media performance

Regularly reporting on organic performance and undertaking ongoing testing / optimisation

IT IS ESSENTIAL YOU HAVE…

A minimum of 2 years experience at brand or agency level of directly managing social media platforms full time, including; Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube for a variety of businesses / clients

Experience of both B2B and B2C and working with niche, luxury brands would be an advantage

A passion and desire to create original and engaging digital content

A demonstrable experience in crafting beautiful written content, through a variety of sectors and TOV

Strong and demonstrable photography / video skills

Excellent graphic design skills and proficiency with Canva / Adobe

Ability to produce outstanding and impactful content creation work as an individual, whilst working closely with wider teams to create a cohesive overall experience for our clients

A basic understanding of paid advertising including the Meta and TikTok platforms

Excellent, demonstrable customer service experience

PLUS…

Excellent planning and organisational skills

Proven copywriting and communication skills. You must be able to convey key messages and craft original, beautiful and engaging posts with creative copy (crucially, adapting tone of voice as appropriate), as well as present ideas clearly and confidently

A strong knowledge of the digital marketing landscape including paid media on social platforms, and how it all fits together

THESE SKILLS WOULD DEFINITELY BE AN ADVANTAGE…

Creativity and the ability to work effectively on your own initiative

Experience with the Mailchimp platform

Qualifications in business, marketing, journalism or English

PLEASE NOTE BEFORE APPLYING:

To apply for any Account Manager role with us, you will need to hold a full driving licence with access to your own car as travel to clients is required.

As a team we work mainly remotely, but you will have full access to our Bournemouth office Hub and will be required to attend 2 x monthly team meetings in Bournemouth.
