The clocks have officially gone forward and the days are getting longer, which can only mean one thing – April is nearly here! … So other than eating our body weight in chocolate over the Easter weekend, what are the national holidays coming up that we can look forward to? Use your social media platforms to inspire your followers, with the following key dates…
What more fun do you need than playing a light prank on your followers for April Fools Day on April 1st! Try announcing some fun, business related false news or create some engaging stories asking your followers what pranks they played on their friends and family. Don’t forget to keep it clean and confess to your prank by the end of the day! … April is all about the Easter holidays for a lot of people, so make sure you schedule your Happy Easter posts ahead of the long Easter weekend with Good Friday falling on (7th), Easter Sunday (9th) & Easter Monday (10th) this year.
Dig out your favourite tartan number with National Tartan Day (6th), with World Health Day (also 7th), Unicorn Day (9th) and Siblings Day (10th) sharing the Easter weekend and completing the first full week of April. Week two highlights include Pet Day (11th) , Scrabble Day (13th), Dolphin Day (14th) and Wear Your Pyjamas to Work Day (16th). While many of us work from home nowadays in our PJs, this may not feel too different to any other day! But would you dare head into the office or place of work in yours? Lucky this year is on a Saturday, so there’s less pressure to get involved…
A few more of our favourites of the month include National Tea Day (21st) ☕️, Earth Day (22nd) , Get Organised Day (26th) and World Wish Day (29th) . If you could have any wish granted, what would it be?
Like every month, April gives us plenty of opportunities to get creative and have fun with our socials. So whatever day you wish to celebrate, have a creative month and a very Happy Easter!
