There’s no better way to kick off a new month than with a three day weekend, right? Well, this year we have three bank holiday’s to enjoy in May, which is maybe why it’s one of our favourite months of 2023 here at SCS! It’s also packed full of fun, tasty and important awareness days to get involved with across your socials.
May kicks off with some great causes as Stroke Awareness Month, Cystic Fibrosis Month and Lyme Disease Month take centre stage. Now is the perfect time to show your support by getting involved with your local charities and help raise awareness with lots of creative content.
If you’re not feeling too fragile after your long weekend, then May the 4th be with you! Consider channeling your inner Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker as you head back to work, in time for Star Wars Day. Sun Awareness Week ☀️ (2nd – 8th) also takes place in week one of May, which culminates with our second bank holiday Monday for the Coronation of the King
Some tasty highlights of the month include World Cocktail Day (13th), World Whiskey Day (21st), Wine Day (25th) and Hamburger Day (28th) – not forgetting National Biscuit Day! (29th) – what’s YOUR favourite biscuit?
Like every month, May gives us plenty of opportunities to have fun with our socials. So whatever day you wish to celebrate, have a great month and enjoy getting creative!
